Brioche

brioche is amazing. it's like cake and bread, all at the same time. it's like the fake but delicious bread you're served on airlines. it's like burger buns that are the secret ingredient to a great burger because they're full of sugar. it's like scone, sponge cake and pancake all in one but you can eat it whenever and be like "oh yeah, just having some toast" when you're secretly thinking "this is like cake for breakfast! or waffles with less gut guilt!" and the amazing thing is my work now sells brioche and when it doesn't sell by the best before we can take it home free AND I looked at the ingredients and it doesn't even have sugar in it (it has eggs which makes it different to (better than) other breadz.)

watching 30 Rock. it's pretty good. I mean not always funny but sometimes. even though it's a bit lame to write a tv show about writing a tv show. whatever. it's entertaining me. I like the sexual tension between jack and lemon, even though it doesn't happen that often. And the lady that plays the crazy cat lady + every other random crazy lady is the shit.

lately I also watched game of thrones. so good.
and all these movies. well like 4 from my folder "watch me motherlicker."

I've realised there's a pattern.
It's basically - grow fringe out over summer, festival season, come feb, march snip snip and dye it dark as shit.
This summer there was also a fair amount of bleaching going on, going for a bit of the old balayange aka dip dye.
But now, as of tonight, if I get off the internet and cbf actually doing it, it's snip snip and goodbye blondie. Brassy blonde. Goldilocks. Well, orange locks...

awwwwww poor bb blog, all rejected and shit. nasty tumblr taking up all internet times... but it's true, I've been a consumer of blogs a whole lot more than a creator lately. meh. evs. but see, tumblr is mainly about pictures (for me at least) and I think the time has come for more wordplay from me online.
but basically all I'm going to say rn is that I finally read Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre and it was *really* good. the whole time I was unsure, is this messing with my head and heart too much? am I enjoying this? and then how the fuck are you going to end this and end it WELL!!??!? but he did. oh, did he. brilliant ending. up there with top 5 endings. maybe top 10. I can't commit.
